Preschool is the first step towards a successful academic career and Notre Dame Early Learning Center program provides developmentally appropriate full and half day preschool classes for 3 and 4 year old children.   Classes are offered in a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children while responding to the needs of families. Activities are designed to develop children’s self-esteem, create positive feelings toward learning, and prepare children for success in later grades. The learning activities are designed to build early literacy and math skills and are responsive to the needs of each child. We welcome your family to be a part of our community!

The main emphasis for the three year old program is social development. Opportunities for the child’s growth and development are provided to:

• Allow the child to feel positive and secure in an environment away from home.
• Assist the child in communication skills, relationships with others and cooperative play in a Christian community.
• Introduce a developmentally appropriate variety of preschool skills such as counting numbers to ten, shapes, colors, first name recognition, glue and scissor use.
• Allow the child to develop at their individual pace of learning.

A child must be three (3) years old by October 1^st and potty trained to join this class. You may choose to have your child participate from two to five days a week. The half-day program begins at 8:00am and dismisses at 11:30am. Students in full-day preschool and full day pre-kindergarten begin at 8:00 am and dismisses at 3:00 pm
Additional after care is available from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. There is an additional charge for this service.
